Tours
Whether you’re a group of 6 or 30, we appreciate it if you submit a tour request for a guided experience. A $20 guide fee will be added to the admission fees. Tours vary in duration from 45 minutes to 1 hour. A minimum of 6 people is required to schedule a guided tour. Please submit your tour request a minimum of 3 weeks in advance. Any requests submitted with less than 3 weeks’ notice can not be guaranteed. Please allow 7-10 business days to process and confirm your tour request.

How do we schedule a school tour?
To schedule a tour, please fill out our tour request form (link or button to form). A minimum of 3 week’s notice is required for all tours.
When are tours available?
Tours are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. When filling out the online form, you can select a date on one of these days and choose a tour time of 10 AM, 12 PM, or 2 PM.
Is there a tour fee?
A $20 guide fee will be added to admission fees

Adults (18+) = $8.00
Edlers (55+) = $6.00
How long does a typical school tour last?
Tours typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the group size and engagement level. Additional time can be arranged if needed.
What are the group size limits?
The Suquamish Museum can accommodate a maximum of 60 people per day for guided tours. Groups of 30 students or more will be split into 2 rotations through the permanent exhibit.
Can our group bring lunch and eat on-site?
If the Lawrence Webster Education Auditorium is available, groups may rent the space to eat lunch after their tour. Groups are required to bring their own meals. An outdoor picnic area is also available near the museum.
Can we take photos during our visit?
Yes, photos and videos are permitted, please do not use a flash as it could harm the artifacts.
Where can we park our buses or vehicles?
There is a designated bus loading and unloading area, along with over 20 parking stalls.

Self-Guided Tours
If you prefer independent exploration, the Suquamish Museum offers a self-guided walking tour map. Start your journey at the museum and explore notable sites such as Chief Seattle’s Gravesite, the Veterans Memorial, the House of Awakened Culture, and the Charles Lawrence Memorial Pole & Boat Ramp. Information about Chief Seattle’s gravesite is also provided for reading during your visit to enhance your understanding of this historical site.
